Cheatballs

Vegans can eat "meatballs" too!


RECIPE
5 dl TVP granules
3,2 dl boiling water
1 tbsp broth (I use vegan beef- or chicken broth from iHerb)
1 large chopped onion
2 shredded cloves of garlic
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp oregano
Salt, pepper
A good handful of breadcrumbs
1 dl chopped fresh basil
Flax-eggs (1,2 dl boiling water and 3 tbsp flax meal mixed together, let it stand for 5 minutes)

Add the TVP in the boiling water and broth, cover it and let it soak for 10 minutes.
Put the flax eggs in a food processor and add the TVP. Lightly fry the onion and garlic in oil, and add it to the food processor. Add the remaining ingredients and blend it smooth.


Make meatballs with moist hands and put them on a baking sheet. Let it bake for 15-20 minutes on 375 F.
